Hello and welcome to my website.
I am an emerging speculative fiction writer of both fantasy and science fiction. I have been published in the ezine Deep Magic, Spring 2021 issue and was reprinted in their ‘Best Of’ print anthology this year. In addition, I have two novelettes that will appear in the best-selling Writers of the Future anthologies–Volume 37 (due to release Fall, 2021) and Volume 38 (due to release Spring of 2022). Writers of the Future Awards Gala, Hollywood, CA
This fall, Brittany Rainsdon will travel to Hollywood as a published finalist for the international Writers of the Future contest. Her novelette, “Half-Breed,” will be published in L. Ron Hubbard Presents Writers of the Future Volume 37.
The Writers of the Future contest is one of the most prestigious writing competitions in the world, judged by some of the top names in speculative fiction. Contest judges include, Tim Powers (author of “On Stranger Tides”), Kevin J. Anderson and Brian Herbert (“Dune” prequel series), Robert J. Sawyer (Quantum Night), Brandon Sanderson (Mistborn series, Stormlight Archive), Larry Niven (Ringworld), Orson Scott Card (Ender’s Game), Nnedi Okorafor (Who Fears Death), David Farland (Runelords), and Katherine Kurtz (Deryni series), among others.
The Gala Awards Event will be live-streamed on youtube and the anthology will be released November 2nd.
